Both bands are touring Australia for the very first time this July.

New York punk outfit Prince Daddy & the Hyena and indie rockers Macseal are teaming up for a joint tour of Australia this July.
The eight-date visit is the first time either act has made the journey down under, and comes hot on the heels of Prince Daddy & the Hyena's highly anticipated fourth LP, Hotwire Trip Switch, out Friday 17 April, and Macseal’s live EP, which dropped in 2025.
The tour begins in Brisbane with a show at The Brightside on Friday 17 July. Prince Daddy & the Hyena and Macseal then play three shows in New South Wales at Newcastle’s The Hamilton Station on Saturday 18 July, Sydney’s Mary’s Underground on Sunday 19 July and Wollongong’s La La La’s on Tuesday 21 July, before two gigs in Victoria at Melbourne’s Stay Gold on Wednesday 22 July and Belgrave’s Sooki Lounge on Thursday 23 July. The tour ends with gigs at Adelaide’s Jive on Friday 24 July and Perth’s Lynott’s Lounge on Saturday 25 July.

Formed by the trio of Kory Gregory, Alex Ziembiec and Zahra Houacine (with Cameron Handford joining shortly after) in 2014, Prince Daddy & The Hyena got together after seeing Rozwell Kid live and being blown away.
The band have carved out their place in the New York punk scene thanks to their energetic and upbeat modern punk, with their upcoming fourth studio album, Hotwire Trip Switch, one to look out for this year.
Macseal also came together in 2014, with the math rock outfit treading the line between power pop and indie rock. Label mates of Prince Daddy, their last album was 2024’s Permanent Repeat, with Macseal excited to finally get the chance to tour Australia.
