Getting together in 2016 after their previous bands broke up, Heagy and Doherty released a series of EPs before dropping their debut album, Somewhere City, in 2019. After the pandemic left them unable to tour, the two got to work in the studio, releasing several more EPs, a mixtape and their second album, Gami Gang.
Origami Angel’s most recent long player, last year’s Feeling Not Found, was produced by Will Yip (La Dispute, Title Fight, Circa Survive) and arrived to high praise from music publications, with Stereogum naming it album of the week upon its release.
Currently touring Europe and the UK, Origami Angel are excited to tour Australia for the first time this April.
