Ahead of the Australian leg of their nearly sold-out OASIS LIVE ‘25 World Tour, Brit-pop icons Oasis have announced the release of a deluxe 30th anniversary edition of their sophomore album, (What’s The Story) Morning Glory?.
Arriving October 3 via Big Brother Recordings (pre-order here), the album will include unplugged versions of iconic tracks ‘Cast No Shadow’, ‘Morning Glory’, ‘Wonderwall’, ‘Acquiesce’ and ‘Champagne Supernova’.
Available in limited edition 2CD and 3LP formats, along with a digital release, the album follows last year’s release of the 30th anniversary edition of Definitely Maybe.
The new unplugged tracks were produced and mixed by Noel Gallagher and Callum Marinho from the original master recordings at Noel’s studio, Lone Star Sound, in London.
The deluxe edition features new artwork shot by Brian Cannon, who designed the original sleeve, along with new liner notes. There will be five different coloured vinyl formats up for grabs, with all versions comprising the 2014 remastered version of the album alongside the new bonus versions.
