'NEXT2U' is the Latest Track Taken From Stand Atlantic's Forthcoming Album 'GODBREATH'

The Aussie punk rockers are also hitting the road for a run of shows this October and November.

'NEXT2U', the fourth single taken from Stand Atlantic's forthcoming fifth studio album, GODBREATH, out Friday 23 October via Virgin Music Group, is a pop-punk love song to friends and family

Speaking on the track, vocalist and singer-songwriter Bonnie Fraser says: "This is definitely a love song but there's also lots of references to being away from home and far from people that make you feel good. We're so lucky to tour the world with our best friends but this is an ode to the people back home that you still miss. Sometimes it's hard to stay present because you want to be somewhere else. ‘NEXT2U’ is a love song you can send to your homies."

The track arrives just under a month out from the release of GODBREATH, an 11-track album of punk rock melodies and Fraser's stream-of-consciousness songwriting that features 'NEXT2U' alongside previously released singles 'Velcro', 'LUCID' and 'EDGE OF VEGAS'.

"To me, GODBREATH means being the most authentic version of yourself," explains Fraser. "It's someone who will do whatever they need to do to get shit done. It's the consequence of those moments when you’re really leaning into what you do, and you feel on top of the world. When being that honest and open just creates this whole other thing within you. It’s about speaking and owning your truth."

Celebrating the release of GODBREATH, Stand Atlantic are hitting the road across October and November with support from American heavyweights Knuckle Puck this October and November.

"We're so excited to embark on our biggest tour to date in support of our new album GODBREATH," says Fraser. "It's come full circle being able to have our old tour buddies Knuckle Puck (US) come along for the ride!"

Stand Atlantic's GODBREATH tour kicks off in Brisbane at Fortitude Music Hall on Friday 23 October, followed by dates at Sydney's Enmore Theatre on Saturday 24 October, Melbourne's The Forum on Wednesday 28 October, Adelaide's Hindley Street Music Hall on Thursday 29 October and finally Perth's Metropolis on Sunday 1 November.

Since breaking out in 2017 with their EP Sidewinder, Stand Atlantic have established themselves as a force in the world of punk-pop, going on to release four studio albums, garner over 500 million streams across platforms and share stages with the likes of Sum 41, MOD SUN, ONE OK ROCK, A Day To Remember and I Prevail.

After touring Australia, Stand Atlantic supports Simple Plan on their UK tour before joining Story of the Year and Silverstein on their North American run of shows.
