The immersive event will re-ignite the historic precinct’s most unique spaces with live, local music this summer
Mark your calendars! After a cracking inaugural year, New Found Sound returns to Port Adelaide this January 18, once again igniting the precinct’s vibrant streets with life, sound and local music.
Featuring performances from over 30 emerging artists, the event – which runs for one-night-only – will transform 10 unique venues across the suburb, levelling up last year’s celebration with even more SA talent and community spirit.
The SA Maritime Museum will host an experimental lineup featuring Pascoe/Martin, San Ureshi, and David Kotlowy performing aboard the historic Ketch, while the museum’s exhibits will be open for free. On the Clipper Ship, Blood Circle will deliver a genre-bending electronic performance, blending sound and light for an unforgettable immersive experience.
Head to Vitalstatistix to see punk rockers Pest Control and the powerhouse group Mondo Psycho. At 10 Gallon Hat, expect the groovy sounds of Live Slug Reaction, SILK, and Tell Mama, all in the venue’s signature Americana-inspired setting. Pirate Life Brewery will host indie-pop sensations TONIX, joined by My Cherie and Pash for a lively evening.

In Iparrityi Laneway, Carclew has curated a series of intimate pop-up performances, featuring young talent such as Pearly Stars, Zara Chantelle, and Emerauld.
Kicking off at 6:00 pm and running late into the evening, New Found Sound offers more than just music. Visitors can immerse themselves in the Port’s cultural charm, enjoying delicious food and drinks while discovering the vibrant creative scene.

Presented by the City of Port Adelaide Enfield in partnership with Live Music Office and APRA AMCOS, New Found Sound reflects the council’s commitment to fostering creativity through its Creative Port Plan.
First Sounds is a vital partnership between the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia (CBAA) and Gadigal Information Service/Koori Radio that continues to amplify First Nations voices.
