New Found Sound has revealed its eclectic 2026 lineup, featuring some of the country’s brightest emerging bands and artists.

Presented in partnership with City of Port Adelaide Enfield and Music Development Office, the third iteration of New Found Sounds is held across Yartapuulti/Port Adelaide on Saturday 9 May, and is a free, all-ages festival with 40 awesome acts performing across ten venues.

This year sees interstate artists joining the lineup for the first time, with Noongar Wongi rapper INKABEE, who is the youngest artist to ever feature on triple j’s Like A Version (he covered Black Eyed Peas ‘Where Is The Love?’), the biggest name on the bill. He’ll be joined by Guringai indie pop sisters Charlie Needs Braces, Tassie electro duo Mum and Dad and Sydney punk outfit Canine.

When it comes to local artists, there’s a great mix of talent, including folk pop singer Ella Ion, punk ratbags LOLA, Malawian Australian singer-songwriter Ms Chipeta, psychedelic rockers Druid Fluids, neo-soul crooners King of Spain, newcomers Miss Orange Juicy and many more.

Artists perform across the Port in a wide range of venues, from pubs and bars to museums and breweries. Music lovers can catch performances at the Waterside Workers Hall, City of Adelaide Clipper Ship, the SA Maritime Museum, Lighthouse Wharf, Pirate Life, McGregor & Young Distillery, Colac Port Adelaide, Fergie Mac’s Lounge, 10 Gallon Hat and Port River Cruises.

“New Found Sound is the ultimate celebration of the creative spirit of the Port Adelaide precinct,” says City of Port Adelaide Enfield Deputy Mayor Barbara Clayton.

“Where else can you watch artists perform in front of a 156-year-old lighthouse, jump aboard
the country’s oldest clipper ship to experience one of Australia’s most acclaimed experimental musicians, take a cruise on the Port River to catch some of the state’s best folk acts, or head to one of Port Adelaide’s many iconic venues for an unforgettable afternoon and evening of live music.”

New Found Sounds is a tremendous initiative that not only spotlights Australia’s musical scene but also everything great about Port Adelaide.

New Found Sound 2026 takes place across Port Adelaide on Saturday 9 May. More information is available at newfoundsound.com.au. Check out the full lineup of artists and venues below.
