Melbourne’s blackened grindcore force Munt are hitting the road in 2026 in support of their long-awaited album, The World Is Not Yours (listen here).
The 13-track record ploughs through black metal, death metal, grindcore, hardcore and noise rock, addressing themes of hubris, corruption, indifference and complacency.
The nine-date east coast tour across March and April will see the black metal titans performing tracks from across their nearly decade-long career, with support coming from death metal groove churners Nembutolik.
Munt’s tour begins in Newcastle at The Hamilton Station on Friday 13 March, before continuing with dates at Sydney’s The Chippo on Saturday 14 March, Penrith’s Elton Chong on Sunday 15 March, Melbourne’s The Bergy on Friday 20 March and Frankston’s Singing Bird on Saturday 21 March.
The band then travels to Queensland for three shows at Brisbane’s PFR Lounge on Friday 27 March, Nambour’s Black Box Theatre on Saturday 28 March and Gold Coast’s Mo’s Desert Clubhouse on Sunday 29 March, finishing up in Adelaide at Ed Castle on Saturday 4 April.

Munt has been shaking venues since bursting onto the scene in 2016 as a solo studio project that’s transformed into a full-fledged touring band.
Since releasing the demo ‘Cage’ in 2026, Munt have dropped several EPs, a split record with Cordell in 2020 and a slew of aggressive singles, with this year’s The World Is Not Yours the band’s debut record.
Their modern take on death and black metal with grindcore and hardcore influences makes them unique, and their upcoming tour is sure to be an assault on the senses.
