The ballot for Australia’s much-loved Meredith Music Festival is now open.
The 33rd edition of the festival takes place Friday 5 December to Sunday 7 December at Meredith Supernatural Amphitheatre and promises to be another exceptional three days of live music and good vibes.
Tickets to the event include entry, camping and parking, with BYO and no commercial messages. And of course, the famous Meredith No D‑‑khead Policy is in place like every year.
Anyone can enter the ballot, which is open until 10:33pm on Monday 11 August. For further ticketing information and to register, visit mmf.com.au.
Once the ballot is closed, those lucky enough to be chosen will receive an email and the opportunity to purchase tickets to this magical event.
Although the lineup is yet to be revealed, Aunty has promised “a crack squad of sonic mavericks” comprising “explorers, enjoiners, defiers, compellers, believers, trippers and troupers.”
The official lineup will drop when the ballot is drawn next month.

Since its humble beginnings as a party for about 200 people in 1991, Meredith Music Festival has evolved into a life-changing experience where memories are made and never forgotten.
As stated on the Meredith website, “There has been some redecorating over the years, a spruce here and a shine there, to keep the radiance radiating above those giant radiata pines. Many amenities have been added, the stage has been upgraded from truck to actual stage, the sausage sizzle expanded from a BBQ accompanied by an umbrella to four-star civic reception centre.”
Last year’s festival was another monster success with a bill featuring Jamie xx, Mannequin Pussy, Genesis Owusu, Angie McMahon, The Dare, Waxahatchee, Fat White Family and many more.
