Meg Washington is back with new piano ballad ‘Natural Beauty’ and a massive Australian tour to boot.
The former triple j darling of the mid-00s might not be the commercial beast she once was, but Washington continues to release alluring music showcasing not only her incredible voice but wonderful songwriting skills.
New single ‘Natural Beauty’ is taken from her 2025 record GEM, Washington’s fifth studio album featuring collaborations with Kevin Morby and Paul Kelly.
Washington’s 2026 tour includes 23 shows across Victoria, Queensland, New South Wales, the ACT, Western Australia and South Australia, with her SA show held at the Aurora Spiegeltent in the Garden of Unearthly Delights as part of the Adelaide Fringe.
Tickets go on sale at 11am AEDT on Tuesday 18 November via meganwashington.com.

Meg Washington first announced herself in 2009 with the release of her EP How to Tame Lions, which she quickly followed up a year later with her debut studio album, I Believe You Liar.
The album contained the hit Aussie singles ‘Sunday Best’, ‘The Hardest Part’, ‘Clementine’, ‘Holy Moses’ and ‘I Believe You Liar’ and won two ARIA Awards for Best Female Artist and Breakthrough Artist.
Washington has gone on to release a further four albums – There There (2014), Batflowers (2020), Hot Fuss (2022) and GEM (2025) – and while she hasn’t been able to replicate the success of her debut, Washington has gained a loyal following of fans and continues to tour regularly and participate in various music-related projects.
