Matt And Alex's ‘5 Raves In 5 Days’ Australian Tour Kicks Off This Weekend

Radio favourites Matt Okine and Alex Dyson have brought back their 5 Raves in 5 Days, kicking off their run of raves this weekend.

Hitting five capital cities to mark the new and approved Matt and Alex podcast on LiSTNR, 5 Raves in 5 Days is also a celebration of Australian music, with a slew of awesome local acts performing at each concert, including Ladyhawke, Ball Park Music, The Tullamarines, Vera Blue and many more.

The tour begins in Brisbane at Crowbar on Thursday 29 October, followed by shows at Sydney's Manning Bar on Friday 30 October, Perth's Amplifier Bar on Saturday 31 October, Adelaide's Jive on Sunday 1 November and finally Melbourne's 170 Russell on Monday 2 November.

As for the lineup, check out the homegrown talent taking to the stage in each city.

• Sydney: Vera Blue, Art vs Science, The Meeting Tree, Ben from SAFIA and Triple J’s Abby & Tyrone 
• Perth: Nick from Pond, Birdland and Smol Fish 
• Adelaide: Luke Million, Towns, and The Tullamarines 
• Melbourne: Ladyhawke, Illy, Baker Boy, Montaigne and Alex Lahey + Kate McCarthy

Matt and Alex's 5 Raves in 5 Days arrives as the duo's podcast, which has been running on LiSTNR since 2020, receives a fresh coat of paint.

Both Matt and Alex are keen to hit the dancefloor, with Alex saying, "For far too long raves have been the domain of the young and energetic. We want to prove that while millennials might not be able to own a house, we still 100% own the dancefloor."
