DJ Seinfeld Headlines New Adelaide Festival Good News
The electronic music festival takes over Bonython Park on Boxing Day, Saturday 26 December.

After announcing the highly anticipated return of SidebySide Festival last month, South Australian event and production outfit Company Works have announced some more Good News in the form of a brand new Adelaide music festival headlined by Swedish creative DJ Seinfeld.
Taking over Bonython Park on Saturday 26 December, Good News is a Boxing Day festival that features a stacked lineup of Australian and international electronic music talent.
Alongside overseas superstar DJ Seinfeld are Berlin-based dancefloor dynamo Jennifer Loveless, Aussie UK garage producer and DJ Osmosis Jones, in-demand selector Carla Martinez, club favourite Willo, rave and garage enthusiast Waxx Off, emerging Naarm/Melbourne star Wolters and Adelaide's own Zoe Goldfinch.
Unlike Sidebyside's two-stage format, Good News will centre around one stage, one dancefloor and one continuous musical journey, bringing the good times to the Adelaide CBD during a normally quiet end of year period.
"Christmas is usually spent with family, so why not make Boxing Day about spending time with the family you choose, your friends?" asks Company Works Director Henry Jarman.
"With so many major festivals choosing to skip South Australia, we felt there was a real opportunity to create something here. We've seen firsthand that Adelaide has an incredible appetite for community-driven events, and we believe this is an important part of the future of our festival industry."
Similar to Sidebyside Festival, Good News continues Company Works' time-based ticketing, giving festivalgoers access to more affordable entry options and encouraging audiences to embrace the full day rather than arriving for the final acts.

The festival also marks a return to one of Adelaide's most storied festival locations, the iconic Bonython Park, which has played host to Big Day Out, Stereosonic, Future Music, Soundwave and Laneway Festival over the years.
Company Works Director, Elliott Jamie, said: "Growing up going to festivals at Bonython Park, there's a lot of history and nostalgia tied to that space. We wanted to bring a festival back but explore the park through a different lens and create something people haven't experienced there before."
As with all Company Works events, the production will be at an elite level, with a bespoke stage setup and lighting design, Funktion-One sound provided by Inside Out Audio and an immersive visual experience. SA's Pirate Life and Pluto Spirits will provide refreshments, with Braising Boy serving up tacos throughout the day.
Company Works hope Good News can become an annual event and another great addition to the SA music festival scene.
"There are so many incredible artists touring Australia over the holiday period, and unfortunately Adelaide often misses out. That's something we're actively working to change," says Company Works Director Oscar Harding.
"We'd love for Good News to become an annual tradition. Ultimately, we want to create a festival that belongs to Adelaide, brings people together and gives everyone a reason to look forward to Boxing Day."
Good News takes place at Bonython Park on Saturday 26 December. Sign up for access to pre-sale tickets at goodnewsfestival.au.
