Matt And Alex Announce ‘5 Raves In 5 Days’ Australian Tour

Radio favourites Matt Okine and Alex Dyson are bringing back their 5 Raves in 5 Days tour this October and November to celebrate the Matt and Alex podcast on LiSTNR.

A decade after the lads toured Australia after graduating from triple j, the duo are hitting five capital cities with a rotating lineup of Australian artists and special guests.

But there is a twist, with these raves encouraging ear protection, comfortable footwear and finishing at a reasonable 10:30pm for those with little ones.

5 Raves in 5 Days is a celebration of Australian music, with each city featuring a homegrown lineup that will be unveiled throughout August and September exclusively on the Matt and Alex podcast.

The tour begins in Brisbane at Crowbar on Thursday 29 October, followed by shows at Sydney's Manning Bar on Friday 30 October, Perth's Amplifier Bar on Saturday 31 October, Adelaide's Jive on Sunday 1 November 1 and finally Melbourne's 170 Russell on Monday 2 November 2.

A staple of LiSTNR since 2020, 5 Raves in 5 Days gives fans a chance to catch the boys live while also enjoying some great Aussie music.

Alex Dyson, co-host of LiSTNR’s Matt and Alex, said: "For far too long raves have been the domain of the young and energetic. We want to prove that while millennials might not be able to own a house, we still 100% own the dancefloor."
