The Mark of Cain Announce National Tour 2026

Post-hardcore legends The Mark of Cain have surprise-announced a run of Australian shows taking place across October and November.

Having already been revealed as one of many bands performing at Brisbane's 4ZZZ presents ZED51 Festival, alongside Mudhoney, DEM MOB, Custrad, I Heart Hiroshima and more, The Mark of Cain have locked in a further three gigs across the country.

"Surprise! 3 more shows for you. Expect a handful of crushing This Is This classics, a host of fan favourites and a selection of brand-new material as we begin preparations for the recording of album #6," the band posted on social media.

Kicking things off in Brisbane at ZED51 Festival on Saturday 24 October, The Mark of Cain then play three dates the following month at Max Watts in Melbourne on Friday 13 November, Manning Bar in Sydney on Saturday 14 November and Hindley Street Music Hall in Adelaide on Saturday 21 November.

Adelaide's The Mark of Cain emerged during the post-hardcore scene of the '80s, establishing themselves as an Aussie version of Gang of Four.

Across a career spanning more than 40 years, The Mark of Cain have released five acclaimed studio albums, performed shows across the globe and were inducted into the SA Music Hall of Fame in 2022.

Fans heading along to see the trio can expect to hear a smattering of tracks from This Is This..., which turns 25 this year, along with old favourites and a couple of new tunes from their upcoming sixth studio album.
