After taking a year off to reset and refresh, R&B festival Fridayz Live returns in 2025 with its biggest lineup ever, headlined by the iconic Mariah Carey.
The five-time Grammy winner has sold over 200 million albums and holds the record for most Billboard Hot 100 singles with 19. Her Australian return coincides with the 20th anniversary of Carey’s landmark album, The Emancipation of Mimi.
Taking place in Brisbane, Sydney, Perth, and Melbourne this October, Fridayz Live 2025 brings Carey back to Australia for the first time in 11 years. She’ll be joined by Mr Worldwide himself, megastar Pitbull, alongside weed-loving rapper Wiz Khalifa and Grammy Award winner Lil Jon.
‘90s rapper Eve, UK rap royalty Tinie Tempah and early ‘00s R&B songstress Jordin Sparks round out the lineup.
Fridayz Live takes over Brisbane Showgrounds on Friday, October 17, ENGIE Stadium in Sydney on Saturday, October 18, Langley Park in Perth on Friday, October 24, before finishing strongly at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne on Saturday, October 25.
Fans will want to secure tickets asap, as the press release accompanying the announcement pointed out there will be “no sideshows, no second chances.”
Unsurprisingly for such an event, there are several pre-sale options available.
Telstra Plus Member pre-sale runs for 48 hours or until ticket allocation is exhausted on Monday, May 26. For more details, click here.
Next up is the ANZ Circle pre-sale, which also runs for 48 hours or until ticket allocation is exhausted on Thursday, May 29. For more details, click here.
