As they prepare for the release of their second album, GLORY, ARIA Award winners Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers have shared new single ‘BAIT’ and revealed they are hitting the road in May next year.
A two-minute ripsnorter propelled by a sublime bass lick, the band said of the single, “BAIT is big ego, full menace mode. We wrote it in LA, channelling a delusional man who thinks he’s God’s gift to earth. It was fun to cosplay as someone we’d all probably hate in real life.”
The track is taken from their upcoming album, GLORY, which arrives Friday 7 November via Mom+Pop Music (pre-save/pre-order here). The record is produced by three-time Grammy Award-winner Catherine Marks (boygenius, Wolf Alice) and was recorded over five weeks in a bush studio in Darkinjung Land on the NSW Central Coast.
In support of the album, Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers are touring the country in May 2026 alongside Aussie singer-songwriter Darcie Haven.
The tour commences in Adelaide on Friday 1 May and continues with dates at Magnet House in Perth on Saturday 2 May, Princess Theatre in Brisbane on Thursday 7 May, the Forum in Melbourne on Friday 8 May and the Roundhouse in Sydney, on Saturday 9 May.
The quartet then heads to New Zealand for a run of shows to close out the tour.
