British-Nigerian rapper Little Simz dropped new single ‘Hello, Hi’ earlier this week. The surprise release follows Simz’s Drop 7, the latest in her long-running EP series.
Simz took to X to share a link to the single accompanied by the caption, “See you in 25.”
Coming in at just over two minutes, the SHYY and Rigas produced ‘Hello, Hi’ is based around a simple guitar and drum instrumental and features Simz addressing her career and the success she’s achieved.
“SS Simz '25, you ain't never seen this season / Takin' it to another level this year and I got every reason,” Simz raps, hinting 2025 will be a big year musically for the exceptional wordsmith.

Anticipation for her sixth album is high, with Simz's most recent LP being 2022s, No Thank You. Simz’s third UK Hip Hop and R&B Albums Chart #1 album, the record was universally praised by music critics, with NME awarding No Thank You four out of five stars and calling it “a clear-headed riposte to the fame game and the industry hangers-on trying to take a slice.”
