Hersh arrives down under shortly after the release of her twelfth studio album, Sugar on Blackstone.

Recorded at Stable Sound Studios, Sugar on Blackstone finds Hersh joined by long-time collaborators Rob Ahlers (50FOOTWAVE) on drums and cellist Pete Harvey (Throwing Muses), with the record featuring a collection of songs ruminating on life and death, survival and human connection.

Hailed a "national treasure" by American radio station NPR, Hirsh first made her mark with rock outfit Throwing Muses at age 14, before going solo and also founding 50FootWave.

Catch Kristin Hersh performing at Grace Emily Hotel on Saturday 21 November. Tickets on sale now at troubadourpresents.com.
