Powderfinger Announce 2027 Australian Tour
The Aussie rock legends have locked in 18 shows across September and October next year.

17 years after calling it quits, Australian rock royalty Powderfinger are getting the band back together for a national tour across September and October 2027.
The stadium tour will include a range of ticket options, a carefully curated food and drinks lineup and a stack of local support acts that will be announced in the coming months.
"We are absolutely ecstatic to be coming together to play again," said Powderfinger in a statement. "Over the years there have been tons of suggestions for us to go back on the road but, until now, it never felt quite right or lined up for all of us.
"We have always been so grateful for the continued support from our long-term fans and over the years we've picked up a lot of new ones who have never seen us play. So, it feels right to bring all of these people (including our kids who were too young to see us play) together for a special run of shows around the country next year.
"People often tell us that our music is connected to their most treasured and joyous memories. We hope to spread a little more of that joy when we make our way around the country with some of Australia’s best established and upcoming talent, and to make some new memories for us all."
The tour kicks off with four hometown shows at Brisbane Showgrounds on Friday 3, Saturday 4, Friday 10 and Saturday 11 September. Powderfinger then head up to Cairns for two gigs at Cazalys Stadium on Friday 17 and Saturday 18 September, followed by two shows at Perth's Wellington Square on Friday 25 and Saturday 25 October, four concerts at Sydney's The Domain on Friday 1, Saturday 2, Friday 8 and Saturday 9 October and two gigs in Adelaide at Ellis Park on Friday 15 and Saturday 16 October.
