Cancer Bats Announce 2027 Australian Tour

Canadian hardcore punk outfit Cancer Bats return to Australian shores next year for the first time since 2024.

The band are touring in support of this year's Give Me Dirt, the group's eighth studio album, which Kerrang! awarded four out of five.

Performing a series of headline shows along with popping up at a couple of festivals, Cancer Bats will be joined on by special guests Heriot.

Cancer Bats get things underway in WA at Perth's Amplifier on Thursday 28 January, followed by appearances at Froth & Fury Festival in Adelaide on Saturday 30 January and Bat Fest in Melbourne at the Corner Hotel on Sunday 31 January. The tour continues with dates at Wollongong's La La La's on Tuesday 2 February, Sydney's Crowbar on Wednesday 3 February, Newcastle's Hamilton Station Hotel on Thursday 4 February, Byron Bay's Arts Factory on Friday 5 February and Brisbane's Crowbar on Saturday 6 February, with Cancer Bats wrapping things up at the Sunshine Coast edition of Bat Fest at Kings Beach Tavern on Sunday 7 February.

For more than two decades, Cancer Bats have been leaders of Canada's hardcore punk scene.

Over that time they've released eight studio albums, including this year's Give Me Dirt, which peaked at #2 on both the Billboard Canadian Albums Chart and the UK Albums Chart, been nominated for five Juno Awards and shared stages with the likes of Alexisonfire, Every Time I Die, Rise Against, The Bronx and Gallows.
