Aussie Legends Powderfinger Confirm Reunion
Bernard Fanning is getting the band back together after 16 years.

The rumours are true: Australian rock greats Powderfinger are reforming for a national tour next year.
Taking to social media to announce the news, frontman Bernard Fanning said Powderfinger will "do some shows all around Australia from September next year".
"We always said that if we were going to get back together to do some shows, that you guys would be the first to know," he added.
"We're going to build something pretty special just for you guys," guitarist Darren Middleton chimed in. "We'll see you from the stage."
The news comes after mysterious billboards popped up in Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide with cryptic messaging.
Fans keen to stay in the loop with Powderfinger's upcoming tour are encouraged to sign up to the band's Official Fan Club here, with more news to drop on Monday 12 October at 6am AEDT.

Powderfinger last toured together in 2010 as part of their final Sunsets Tour that took them across the country before ending with a massive hometown show at Brisbane’s Riverstage.
While they did reunite in 2020 for the One Night Lonely livestream, the band have pursued their own projects since breaking up, with Fanning the most prolific, releasing four solo albums and teaming up with Something For Kate's Paul Dempsey under the alias Fanning Dempsey National Park.
