The set times for Knotfest Australia 2025 are finally here. Unlike many festivals, the two-stage setup helps avoid any major clashes, meaning you can catch all your favourite bands without having to run between stages or depart mid-set.
All three legs of the festival have the same lineup and set times, with Slipknot bringing each night to a close with an 80-minute set.
Celebrating the 25th anniversary of Slipknot, this year’s Knotfest Australia’s stacked bill features the masked musicians alongside the likes of Florida’s A Day To Remember, Japanese kawaii metal trailblazers BABYMETAL, Russian deathcore behemoths Slaughter To Prevail and Sydney heavy metal beasts Polaris.
The third edition of the Australian leg of Knotfest kicks off in Melbourne at Flemington Racecourse on Friday, February 28, and continues in Brisbane at the Brisbane Showgrounds on Sunday, March 2 and Sydney’s Centennial Park on Saturday, March 8.
Along with general admission tickets, there are a range of exclusive VIP packages available, including some with backstage tours and side-of-stage viewing access.

The first Knotfest was held in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Somerset, Wisconsin, in 2012. It’s gone on to become one of the biggest travelling metal festivals in the world, with the festival having taken place in Germany, Japan, Argentina, Finland, Brazil, and of course, Australia.
The inaugural Australian leg of the festival arrived Down Under in 2023 and featured Slipknot as the headline act alongside Parkway Drive, Megadeth and Trivium.
Last year’s two-stage edition had another enviable bill, with Pantera, Disturbed, Lamb of God and Halestorm just some of the incredible acts who performed.
Knotfest Australia 2025 is held in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney across three weekends from February 28 to March 8. Tickets for all three festivals are on sale now via knotfest.com.
