Kita Alexander Shares 'RAGE' Bonus Track 'Back to Sydney'

Australian singer-songwriter Kita Alexander has shared her new single 'Back to Sydney', a bonus track from her #1 ARIA Australian Album RAGE, out now via Warner Music Australia.

A folk-pop fizzer, 'Back to Sydney' is a moving three-and-a-half-minute track exploring whether home is a place, a person, or a feeling.

"Anyone trying to be anything is usually told to leave Australia because it's too small of a pond here. But there was always this frustration and energy inside of me that wanted to rebel against that idea," explains Alexander.

"This song is me listening to that feeling ​ and coming back home. Everything I want is here and I want to do what is best for me, which is to be in the sunshine, in nature, in the ocean and with my family."

The feel-good song is accompanied by a music video directed by Roman Anastasios that features Alexander strolling through parklands. Check it out below.

2026 has been a huge year for Alexander, whose sophomore album RAGE debuted at #1 on the Australian ARIA Albums Chart.

The follow-up to her 2024 album Young in Love, which debuted at #3 on the ARIA Australian Album Chart, Alexander's latest LP takes inspiration from her own experiences as a woman embracing the rage inside her and as she embarks on a path of understanding and accepting her truest self.

Alexander continues to cement herself as a force of nature in the world of pop music with over 500 million global streams, collaborations with FISHER, Morgan Evans, LAUREL and CYRIL and support slots alongside Dua Lipa and Maddison Beer.
