Chocolate Starfish Play 'Bat Out of Hell'
The tour marks the 50th anniversary of Australia’s highest selling album and the 35th anniversary of Chocolate Starfish.

Rockers Chocolate Starfish are bringing Meat Loaf's iconic album Bat Out of Hell to the stage next year.
The tour coincides with Bat Out of Hell, Australia's highest-selling album, turning 50 and Chocolate Starfish celebrating 35 years in the music business.
Returning by popular demand, the production will hit seven venues across Australia (with further announcements to come), giving music fans a new and exciting take on the classic album.
"It's been a few years since we toured our Bat Out of Hell show. Our fans have spoken, and we're bringing it back with a fresh take for the 50th anniversary of the album," said Chocolate Starfish frontman Adam Thompson.
"It's wild to think that one in 15 people in Australia own the Bat Out of Hell album. There's a lot of love out there for the classic original, and we'll honour and celebrate that on tour next year."
The Bat Out of Hell tour begins with three shows in March at Anita's Theatre in Thirroul on Friday 12 March, Narooma on Saturday 13 March at Tilba Valley Winery and Bellarine Estate in Bellarine on Saturday 20 March.
May sees a further three more shows at Sydney's State Theatre on Saturday 1 May, Gold Coast's Miami Marketta on Friday 28 May and Brisbane's Eatons Hill on Saturday 29 May.
The tour then heads to Melbourne on Saturday 5 June at Palais Theatre, followed by Perth's Crown Theatre on Saturday 26 June, wrapping up at Evan Theatre in Penrith on Friday 2 July.

Bat Out of Hell holds a special place in Thompson's heart, who remembers being heavily influenced by the album as a 13-year-old.
"The songs and Meat Loaf's voice transported me out of that country isolation and into a fantasy world. It's shaped the theatrical and dynamic way I looked at songwriting and performance ever since," Thompson added.
The album has resonated across the generations, with Chocolate Starfish's tour giving fans who grew up with Bat Out of Hell, along with younger music lovers, the opportunity to experience the album and Chocolate Starfish's full-throttle signature brand of theatrical rock.
