Perth legends Karnivool have announced a July national tour in support of their recently released fourth studio album, In Verses.
Karnivool’s first studio album in 13 years, In Verses soared to the top of the ARIA Album Chart, becoming the first local album to do so in 2026. Reviews have been extremely positive, with all five singles – ‘All It Takes’, ‘Drones’, ‘Aozora’, ‘Opal’ and ‘Animation’ received well by fans.
Gearing up for their biggest headline tour to date, Karnivool will be joined by two special overseas guests – British prog metal ensemble TesseracT and American mathcore act Car Bomb.
Karnivool’s In Verses tour begins with a hometown show at Perth’s Ice Cream Factory on Saturday 18 July. Dates follow at Adelaide’s AEC Theatre on Tuesday 21 July, Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on Thursday 23 July and Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena on Friday 24 July, wrapping up at Brisbane’s Riverstage on Saturday 25 July.
Pre-sale takes place Tuesday 14 April at 9am AEDT. Sign up for access here. Tickets go on sale Wednesday 15 April at 9am AEDT via destroyalllines.com.
Karnivool have been at the top of Australia’s prog rock scene for close to three decades. In that time, they’ve released four albums – Themata (2005), Sound Awake (2009) and the ARIA #1s Asymmetry (2013) and In Verses (2026) – gained a legion of adoring fans both locally and internationally and became renowned for their electrifying live shows.
During their last visit to Adelaide, The Note wrote, “A Karnivool tour is never less than a full-bodied experience — equal parts cerebral, visceral and spiritual.”
Comprising OG members Ian Kenny (lead vocals) and Drew Goddard (guitar, backing vocals) alongside Jon Stockman (bass, unclean vocals), Mark Hosking (guitar, backing vocals) and Steve Judd (drums), Karnivool’s upcoming Australian tour is one fans will not want to miss.
Catch Karnivool at AEC Theatre on Tuesday 21 July. Ticketing information is available at destroyalllines.com.
