James Marriott Announces Third Studio Album 'Warning Signs'
The UK singer-songwriter is touring Australia this October.

After sharing his new single 'Burn Down The Disco' last week, UK singer-songwriter James Marriott has announced the release of his third album, Warning Signs, out Friday 17 January via AWAL.
The album reveal arrived after Marriott performed to a sold-out crowd at the famed 02 Acadmey Brixton, announcing the new album live on stage to rapturous applause.
Warning Signs charts the beginning and end of a relationship across 11 tracks, from the giddy feelings of lust through to the pain of heartbreak.
"This album, it's all 'moment-based' for me," James explains. "For a song to latch into my head, there has to be a moment where I think, 'Oh yeah, this is amazing'. I can pick out something in every track on the record that gives me that feeling."
Aussie fans will get to hear some of Marriott's new music when he touches down in the country next month for a run of five headline shows with support from Gold Coast indie rockers Eliza & The Delusionals.
Kicking things off in Perth at Astor Theatre on Monday 5 October, Marriott then makes his way to Sydney's Enmore Theatre on Thursday 8 October, followed by dates at Brisbane's Fortitude Music Hall on Saturday 10 October and Adelaide's Hindley Street Music Hall on Monday 12 October, with the final show at Melbourne's Forum on Wednesday 14 October.

Warning Signs follows last year's chart-topping Don't Tell The Dog and Marriott's 2023 debut album, Are We There Yet?.
Now established as one of pop's most exciting stars, Marriott's connection with his fans goes back to his early days as a YouTuber, building an authentic connection with fans via social media who have continued to support him as his career has progressed.
"It's funny, because there really are two different pools of people who know me now: some from the online world, and others who have found me through my music," Marriott says. "I'm completely at peace with that. I'd never shun the thing that got me here, which is an audience willing to give everything a go. As an artist, that’s all you can hope for: people who’ll buy a record, come to a show, and follow you wherever you want to take it."
Warning Signs is out Friday 17 January via AWAL. Pre-order here. Catch James Marriott performing at Hindley Street Music Hall on Monday 12 October. Tickets on sale now via frontiertouring.com.
