James Johnston Shares Sophomore Album ‘WHERE YOU’LL FIND ME’ Ahead of Australian Tour

Aussie country music star James Johnston has shared his sophomore album, WHERE YOU’LL FIND ME.
Released via Warner Music Australia, the album is 16 tracks of upbeat country pop and contains the previously released singles ‘BLAME’, ‘COUNTRY IS FOR ME’, ‘HELL BOY’, ‘BACK IN THE DAY’, ‘GOOD FOR ME’, ‘WHERE YOU’LL FIND ME’ and ‘I OUTTA KNOW BETTER’.
Produced by Jared Adlam (Adam Brand, Lee Kernaghan) and featuring collaborations with his mentor and country superstar Morgan Evans, WHERE YOU’LL FIND ME marks the next chapter in Johnston’s career. Inspired by his family and friends, the record celebrates love, loss and country life.
The two-time Golden Guitar winner is currently on the road in support of the album, performing at the new country festival Strummingbird on Saturday 25 October on the Sunshine Coast and next weekend in Newcastle on Saturday 1 November and in Perth on Sunday 1 November.
Johnston then plays headline shows at Hobart’s Odeon Theatre on Friday 14 November, Adelaide’s Hindley Street Music Hall. on Saturday 15 November, Darwin’s Aant Centre on Sunday 16 November and Canberra’s Theatre on Tuesday 18 November.

Johnston first made his mark on the seventh season of Australian Idol in 2009, finishing in third place. He then made the top 24 of The X Factor (Australia) in 2014, wrote almost 200 songs and delivered his debut single, ‘Raised Like That’, in 2021.
Peaking at #4 on the Australian Independent Chart, the song catapulted Johnston back into the spotlight, leading to his independently released 2023 debut album, Raised Like That. The album was praised by critics and earned Johnston an ARIA Award nomination for Best Country Album.
The likeable lad has spent the last couple of years touring the globe, gaining a cult following in South Africa and supporting American country superstar Kip Moore on his recent Aussie tour.
WHERE YOU’LL FIND ME is set to light a fire under the Australian country music scene and is just the beginning for Johnston’s burgeoning career.
