Medium Build Announces 'King of Having Fun' Australian Tour 2027

American singer-songwriter Medium Build is bringing his King of Having Fun Tour to Australian shores in January 2027.

Celebrating his new album, King of Having Fun, Medium Build is touring North America, Europe and the UK before touching down in Oz next year.

Recorded live in the studio alongside his closest friends and collaborators, King of Having Fun finds Medium Build bringing a fresh rock vibe to his sound while incorporating his trademark lo-fi country influences.

Medium Build will kick off the Australian leg of the tour in Adelaide at Lion Arts Factory on Monday 18 January before heading to Melbourne's Corner Hotel on Tuesday 19 January and The Triffid, Brisbane on Friday 22 January, wrapping things up at Sydney's Metro Theatre on Saturday 23 January.

Nick Carpenter has been making music as Medium Build since 2016, but it wasn't until the release of his 2024 album Country that the talented singer-songwriter broke through.

Since then, he's gained a large Aussie fanbase, which resulted in Medium Build touring the country twice in 2025. He first supported Role Model on his national tour and played his first headline shows here, before returning later in the year with Alex Warren.
