After a successful run of East Coast shows celebrating the 10th anniversary of Horrorshow’s seminal album King Amongst Many, MC Solo is bringing the party to Adelaide.
Horrorshow frontman Solo will be joined on stage by one-woman-band Asti Holz as the two perform King Amongst Many in full along with fan favourites and deep cuts.
The tour begins in Adelaide at Lion Arts Factory on Sunday, July 14. This date is sandwiched between a show at Perth’s The Rosemount Hotel on Sunday, July 7 and a final performance in Alice Springs at Araluen Arts Centre on Saturday, September 7.
Local supports have been announced for all three shows, with Flewnt playing Perth, Rulla taking the stage in Adelaide and Hugh Winterflood joining Horrorshow in Alice Springs.
Tickets are on sale now via Moshtix.
Released in 2013, King Amongst Many peaked at #2 on the ARIA Album Chart and gifted fans the singles ‘Unfair Lottery’ and ‘Nice Guys Finish Last’.
The critically acclaimed album explores themes of Australian identity, racism, and history, and has become a landmark Aussie hip hop album.
After the album’s success, Horrorshow has released two more albums, 2017’s Bardo State and 2019’s New Normal, with both hitting the ARIA Album Chart top ten.
