After a five-year break from the rigours of touring, Adelaide’s own Holly ‘Cookie’ Baker is returning to the stage with her 17-date Where Do You Go In The Winter? Aotearoa/New Zealand and Australian tour.
The tour marks the singer-songwriter’s first shows in Aotearoa/New Zealand and ushers in a new chapter of Cookie’s story after several years away from the stage, focusing on songwriting and producing.
“This tour is really about reconnecting – with the music, with the audience, and with the kind of intimate, soul-nourishing shows that made me fall in love with performing in the first place,” says Cookie.
“New Zealand has been such a huge supporter of my music from afar, and this tour feels like a really special way to finally build that connection in person. In a time when so much feels fast and fleeting, I’m craving the slow magic of small rooms and real moments.”
Beginning her tour with ten gigs across Aotearoa/New Zealand, Cookie returns to Australia for seven shows, beginning with a hometown concert in Adelaide at The Queens Theatre as part of Draw Your (S)word on Thursday, June 26.
This is followed by two gigs in Mount Gambier at the Mount Gambier Cycling Club on Friday, June 27 and Saturday, June 28, before Cookie performs interstate at Sydney’s Gasoline Pony on Thursday, July 10, Thirroul’s Frank’s Wild Years on Sunday, July 13 and Canberra’s Smith’s Alternative on Wednesday, July 16, with the tour coming to an end back in SA at Port Lincoln’s Sound City on Friday, July 25.

Raised on a farm by South Australia’s pristine coastline, Cookie built a national fanbase through her authentic lyrics and dreamy alt-country folk sound.
Now calling Kaurna land home, Cookie has recorded with You Am I’s Tim Rogers, toured with Weddings Parties Anything’s Mick Thomas and performed alongside a long list of Aussie music luminaries, including Jen Cloher, Ben Lee, Kate Miller-Heidke and Angie Hart.
Six years on from the release of her debut album, This Is Not a Love Song, Cookie is ready to share new music with the world, and we can’t wait!
