Metal Cruise Hellbound Sells Out in Seven Minutes!
The three-day heavy metal extravaganza features performances from Parkway Drive, Polaris, Northlane, The Butterfly Effect and more.

Well, that didn’t take long. Destroy All Lines and Choose Your Cruise’s all-new metal cruise, Hellbound, sold out in just seven minutes! Yes, you ready that correctly – seven bloody minutes!
Australia’s newest metal festival, which takes place on the high seas next year, launches from Sydney Harbour on Thursday, October 22 and returns Sunday, October 25 2006.
A heavy metal lover’s delight, the hell on the high seas spectacular is headlined by metalcore greats Parkway Drive and features performances from some of the biggest names in the Oz heavy metal scene, including Polaris, Northlane, The Butterfly Effect, Make Them Suffer, In Hearts Wake, Belle Haven and Bloom.
Also on the bill are Chez, Diamond Construct, Future Static, Ocean Sleeper, Reliqa, The Beautiful Monument, The Gloom in the Corner, To The Grave and Windwaker.
Still not satisfied? How about themed nights, artist-hosted experiences and late-night DJ sets from Taking Back Saturday DJs?
The luxury Carnival Splendor vessel has been decked out for all your needs and boasts a custom-built main stage, a fully equipped fitness centre and Cloud 9 Spa for those who want to get a bit of R&R between performances.

When the cruise was first announced a few weeks back, Destroy All Lines Head Promoter Chris O’Brien said: “I have been in discussion with Choose Your Cruise for years discussing a way to launch a Metal Cruise in Australia and I’m absolutely thrilled we have managed to pull this off.
