Global superstar Grace Jones has joined the WOMADelaide 2026 lineup and will take to the stage as the Saturday night headliner.
Emerging from the legendary Studio 54 nightclub in Manhattan, Jones made her mark with hit tracks such as ‘Pull Up to the Bumper’, ‘My Jamaican Guy’ and ‘Slave to the Rhythm’. Her 1981 album Nightclubbing is a disco classic and was an influence for many artists who came after Jones’ trailblazing pop success of the late ‘70s and early ‘80s.
WOMADelaide 2026 takes place across four days at Adelaide’s Botanic Park/Tainmuntilla over the March long weekend (6-9) and features an incredible and diverse lineup of artists, including hip hop trailblazers Arrested Development, legendary Aussie group Yothu Yindi, Canadian jazz-fusion outfit BADBADNOTGOOD, Yolngu rapper and dancer Baker Boy, American gospel family band Annie & The Caldwells and many more.
The 2026 edition of the festival will feature more than 600 artists in 69 groups from 38 countries, highlighting the diversity of WOMADelaide and why it is constantly rated as one of the world’s best festivals.

Each year, WOMADelaide transforms our glorious Botanic Park/Tainmuntilla into another world celebrating art, culture, and connection in the heart of Adelaide – and 2026 will be no different.
