Genre-defying ukulele collective Ukulele Death Squad are back with the bold and brash double single ‘The Curse of the Nipple Tape’.
Made up of two live a cappella tracks, ‘Fuck The Man’ and ‘Lowlands Away’, both were recorded spontaneously in the studio and feature the group’s unhinged folk rock sound paired with outrageous lyrics about wanking all day and shitting on the floor.
The release of the double single ushers in Ukulele Death Squad’s upcoming run of 2026 shows that kicks off in February in Goulburn. The eight-piece then have dates lined up in Queanbeyan, Melbourne, Adelaide, the Blue Mountains and Coober Pedy.
Ukulele Death Squad’s three South Australian shows include headline gigs at Milledges Distillation in Port Adelaide and Coober Pedy’s Outback Bar and Grill, along with a one-day-only Sea Shanty Special, which sees the Ukulele Death Squad transform into unhinged musical pirates aboard the iconic Popeye river boat.
