Celebrating its 18th birthday, Golden Plains has unveiled a tremendous lineup for its 2026 event, headlined by UK electronic duo Basement Jaxx, who will be performing a live set.
Next year’s edition of the festival also includes eclectic Norwegian duo Smerz, Kiwi Marlon Williams and the Yarra Benders, who will appear with the Māori performing arts group, Ngā Mātai Pūrua, Aussie party starters Cut Copy, Afrobeats superstar Obongjayar, Brooklyn-based pair Water From Your Eyes and guitar hero Ty Seagull.
If that’s not enough, the lineup also features the likes of Georgia Knight, Crazy P, This Is Lorelei, Becca Hatch, Jalen Ngonda, Frost Children, Derya Yıldırım & Grup Şimşek, Bleak Squad and many more incredible local and international artists.
“Eighteen forever. A golden thread of infinite delights across two days and two nights,” organisers proclaimed about the Golden Plains 2026 lineup.

Held over the Victorian Labour Day weekend (Saturday 7 March to Monday 9 March) at the Meredith Supernatural Amphitheatre near Meredith on Wadawurrung Land, those keen on attending can take a crack at the second ballot for tickets that’s open until 10:18pm AEDT, on Monday 20 October via goldenplains.com.au.
Similar to its big sister festival, Meredith, Golden Plains has a “No dickheads Policy”, ensuring a safe and inclusive space for music lovers to gather and enjoy a weekend of epic tunes from the greatest artists on the planet, along with no commercial sponsors, free range camping and BYO.
Golden Plains has been a must-attend for almost 20 years, with this year’s edition another mesmerising experience that featured performances from PJ Harvey, Fontaines D.C., 2manydjs, Kneecap, Durand Jones & the Indications, Hermanos Gutiérrez and many more.
