Adelaide’s own George Alice is returning in June for a special hometown show at Crown & Anchor.
Alice’s takeover of the Cranker comes in support of her latest single, ‘SOS’. Premiering on triple j earlier this week, ‘SOS’ is a thumping club hit perfect for getting down and dirty to while on the dance floor.
The track is accompanied by a music video directed by Charles Buxton-Leslie and Kyle Caulfield, depicting Alice and a couple of friends hanging around in the middle of nowhere, shooting guns and dancing.
Hitting the Cranker bandroom on Saturday, June 28, Alice promises “special guests” and an “exceptional vibe” at her one-off Adelaide show, with limited tickets available.
Tickets for Alice’s concert at Crown & Anchor are on sale now via moshtix.com.au.

The singer-songwriter emerged in 2019 when her debut single, ‘Circles, took out triple J’s Unearthed High competition and has been riding the wave ever since.
Alice dropped her debut EP, Growing Pains, in 2022, and has gone on to perform at Laneway Festival and the Australian Open, as well as support the likes of Yung Blue, Broods, Cub Sport and Tash Sultana.
‘SOS’ comes after a quiet couple of years for Alice, with the sultry singer’s last releases being the 2023 singles ‘ Healed’ and ‘kryptonite’. Fingers crossed the release of ‘SOS’ means more music (and possibly an album) are on the way.
