Everyone’s favourite producer and DJ Fred Again… has shared the album artwork and tracklisting for his hotly anticipated forthcoming album, ten days.
The follow-up to his Actual Life trilogy of albums will be available on streaming services on September 6 with a vinyl release on October 25.
Taking to social media to reveal the news, Fred Again… commented “my new record is called ten days. it’s ten songs about ten days. there has been a lot of biggg mad crazy moments in the last year but basically all of these are about really very small quiet intimate moments.”
“some of them are like the most intensely joyful things i have felt, and some of them are the other side of things,” he continued. “and some days I don’t want to speak about loads cos I’m not the only person it was an important day for if that makes sense.”
The ten-track release features a load of special guests, including Obongjayar, Sampha, SOAK, The Japanese House, Emmy Lou Harris, Anderson .PAAK, Four Tet and Skrillex.
The album comes after a massive 18 months that’s seen the British artist become one of the biggest acts in the world, wowing crowds at Coachella with a headline performance alongside Four Tet and Skrillex, selling out stadium shows across Australia in March and surprising fans with an epic Glastonbury set.
Fingers crossed the release of ten days means another Australian tour is in the works that includes a show in Adelaide.
