Currently living the dream in the UK and Europe, Fool Nelson have shared brand new single ‘Keepsake’ and dropped a deluxe edition of their EP Bad Dreams.

A hazy dose of guitar goodness led by vocalist Tom Broadbent’s signature croon, ‘Keepsake’ was produced and mixed by Andy Lawson (The Buoys, Death by Denim) and mastered by George Georgiadis (Ruby Fields, Hockey Dad), the duo who worked with Fool Nelson on the creation of Bad Dreams.

“‘Keepsake’ is a song for our loved ones,” shared Broadbent. “Sometimes you get so caught up in your own head that you forget how much these people mean to you. It's often during completely mundane moments in the day that it can hit you: ‘wow, I really love these people’. I started writing this song during one of these moments.”

Released via AWAL, Bad Dreams was well received by the music press and contains the singles ‘Don’t Feel Right’, ‘Big Shot’ and ‘Bad Dreams’, which hit #1 on the Most Played on triple j for multiple weeks.

Speaking about the EP, Fool Nelson’s Darcy Steven said, “Overall, the EP is about sticking close to the people you love. Often, we've found ourselves pushing away those relationships when things are difficult or uncertain, but we're learning to put those things first amidst anxiety, ambition, and uncertainty. For us, the EP definitely serves as a bit of an outlet for our anxieties, but hopefully also serves as a reminder of what's important.”
