Fishbone Reveal Local Supports for Australian Tour

The Cali outfit are playing their seminal album in full at all shows.

Fishbone return to Australia for the first time in 15 years this month to celebrate the 40th anniversary of their seminal debut album, In Your Face.

Just weeks out from the tour, which sees the band performing In Your Face in its entirety alongside a slew of hits from their back catalogue, the punk, ska-funk rockers have announced the local support acts playing with them.

The Kittyhawks will join Fishbone on stage in Adelaide and Melbourne, while the legendary Australian ska outfit The Porkers will join the Sydney and Brisbane shows.

Fishbone's In Your Face 40th anniversary tour begins in Adelaide at The Gov on Monday 21 September. The band then hits 170 Russell in Melbourne on Wednesday 23 September and Liberty Hall in Sydney on Thursday 24 September, wrapping things up in Brisbane on Friday 25 September at The Triffid.

Fishbone's tour also coincides with the release of their ninth album, Stockholm Syndrome, which is the band's first full-length LP in more than 20 years. Picking up where the band left off in 1995, the record is a politically charged powder keg that also reflects on life, relationships and redemption.

Since emerging from the Los Angeles punk scene, Fishbone have solidified their reputation as one of the most influential acts of the '80s and early '90s through eight studio albums and their high-energy live shows.

In recent years, the band's popularity has risen to another level thanks to tours with the likes of Madness, Tool and Primus, along with appearances at Less Than Jake’s Summer Circus Tour and the Long Beach and Washington, D.C. stops of Vans Warped Tour 2025.

Fishbone's upcoming Aussie jaunt is a chance for fans to get nostalgic while also appreciating Fishbone's new music with like-minded fans.
