Downtempo deathcore brutes Filth have revealed they are heading our way for the very first time this July and August.
Fresh from the release of their ear-shattering EP Welcome to Shell Town, the quartet is bringing the noise to Aussie shores this year, but they aren’t coming alone.
The Gutter Gang will be joined by France’s slamming deathcore outfit Kanine, who are about to drop their new project KHAOS!, Melbourne metalcore quartet Liar and Sydney newcomers Iocaste, who recently dropped their debut EP, Resin.
Filth’s Aussie visit commences in Brisbane at Tomcat on Thursday 23 July. The North Carolina four-piece then takes in Newcastle’s King St (Friday 24 July), Sydney’s Mary’s Underground (Saturday 25 July), Wollongong’s La La La’s (Sunday 26 July), Canberra’s Fun Time Pony (Wednesday 29 July) and Adelaide’s Ed Castle (Friday 31 July), wrapping things up in Melbourne at Leadbeaters on Saturday 1 August.

Beginning as a side project for InVoker guitarist David Gantt and vocalist Dustin Mitchell, Filth have been grinding for more than a decade, releasing a slew of singles and EPs, leading to their 2024 debut album, Southern Hostility.
Merging hardcore soundscapes with hip hop and nu metal, Filth have produced an invigorating listen with their latest EP, Welcome To Shell Town, which includes a cover of Drowning Pool’s ‘Bodies’.
