Genre-defying local talent DIVEBAR YOUTH is excited to announce he’s hitting the road this November and December on a national tour.
He dropped the news on Instagram, sharing a tour poster accompanied by the message, “Australia, I’m going on tour later this year!!”
The alias of Vinnie Barbaro, DIVEBAR YOUTH is known for crafting incredibly compelling songs that weave through multiple genres.
He’s released a stack of singles and several EPs over the past five years, with his most recent release being this year’s Late Fee EP, which includes the Strokes-sounding opener ‘perfume’.
DIVEBAR YOUTH’s Australian tour begins in Kaurna/Adelaide at Jive on Friday 21 November and continues with dates at Eora/Sydney’s Chippo on Friday 28 November, Naarm/Melbourne’s Bergy Bandroom on Saturday 29 November and Meanjin/Brisbane’s Tomcat on Friday 5 December.
