Craig David Announces 'Born To Do It' Australian Tour 2027

The UK singer-songwriter is performing his debut album, Born To Do It, in full.

UK R&B-pop superstar Craig David returns to Australia in 2027, touring his seminal debut album, Born to Do It.

Accompanied by a live band, David will play the album in full alongside all his biggest hits and fan favourites.

"26 years ago, Born to Do It changed my life! My two shows at London's Hammersmith Apollo earlier this year were such an incredible vibe, and they meant so much to me," David said in a statement.

"Playing the album front to back with my band for the first time brought back so many amazing memories. Because of that, I’ve decided to take this show around the world to my wonderful fans, and I'm excited to announce that I'm coming back to Australia. I can’t wait to see you there!"

The Australian leg of Daivd's Born To Do It World Tour begins at Brisbane's Fortitude Music Hall on Saturday 22 May, followed by dates at TikTok Entertainment Centre in Sydney on Sunday 23 May, Adelaide's AEC Theatre on Wednesday 26 May and Margaret Court Arena in Melbourne on Friday 28 May, before wrapping up at Perth's HPC on Saturday 29 May.

Getting his start on pirate radio, David first appeared on the Artful Dodger's classic UK garage joint 'Rewind' in 1999, before dropping his #1 UK album Born To Do It a year later. The record peaked at #2 on the ARIA Albums Chart and spawned the hits 'Fill Me In', '7 Days', 'Walking Away' and 'Rendezvous'.

David has gone on to release a total of nine studio albums, receive 14 BRIT Award nominations, two GRAMMY nominations, four MOBO awards, three Ivor Novello Awards and an MBE for his services to music.

With over 6.1 million monthly Spotify listeners, more than 5 million followers across social platforms and over 5 billion streams, David continues to be a captivating force in the world of music, with his upcoming Australian tour not to be missed.
