Indie quartet DICE are embarking on a massive regional tour in support of their upcoming second album, I Thought The Altitude Would Make It Worth The View.
Arriving Friday 31 July via Tone City Records/Virgin Music Group, the 10-track record includes the singles ‘Cooler’ and ‘Loose Change’, with the latter born from a voice note and refined with G Flip and recorded at Hollywood’s EastWest Studios with 11-time Grammy-winning producer Joe Chiccarelli (The Strokes, The White Stripes).
The band says of the track, “‘Loose Change’ is about taking risks and getting out from the safety net to achieve what you set out for. This track is a nice reminder that it’s all a matter of the mind and anybody can achieve what they strive for.”
DICE’s tour includes 19 stops, with things kicking off in Karuna Land/Adelaide at the iconic venue The Gov on Saturday 8 August, followed by gigs in Tassie, Queensland, New South Wales, Canberra and Victoria. The tour wraps up in Western Australia at the Astor Theatre in Whadjuk Noongar Land/Perth on Friday 11 September and the Dunsborough Tavern in Wardanda Country/Dunsborough on Saturday 12 September.
Destroy All Lines pre-sale kicks off at 10am AEST on Tuesday 26 May. Sign up here. General on-sale takes place at 10am on Thursday 28 May via destroyalllines.com.
