Lovable Kiwi rouges Dartz are crossing the Tasman Sea for a run of headline shows this June, including their first ever Adelaide headline gig.

The announcement comes just over a month after they dropped their first single of 2025, ‘Moving to Melbourne’. Produced by James Goldsmith, the track is another pub rocker for fans of The Chats and Dick Move.

The quartet of Daniel Vernon (vocalist), Christan Pianta (guitar), Clark Mathews (bass) and Hakopa Kuka-Larsen (Rollyz) are currently ripping it up across Europe before touching down in Australia for a whirlwind four-day capital city tour.

The lad’s Money 4 Nothing tour gets underway at Melbourne’s Old Bar on Wednesday, June 11, before Dartz take over Adelaide’s Lowlife Basement on Thursday, June 12, Brisbane’s PFR Lounge on Friday, June 13, and Sydney’s Lazy Thinking on Saturday, June 14.

Tickets for all four gigs are on sale now via linktr.ee/smokedartz.

Formed after Vernon and Pianta submitted a fake band name to support The Chats on their 2019 New Zealand tour, Dartz are now an established act with two albums under their belt – The Band From Wellington, New Zealand (2022) and Dangerous Day to Be A Cold One (2024).

Last year’s Dangerous Day To Be A Cold One was named as a finalist for the 2025 Taite Music Prize, with Rolling Stone calling the record an “excellent second album, which features great wit and honest storytelling.”

Catch Dartz at Lowlife Basement on Thursday, June 12. Tickets on sale now via eventbrite.com.
