Convict Class Announce ‘Anarchy in Adelaide’
This will be Convict Class’ first ever Adelaide show.

Veterans of the Victorian punk scene, Convict Class are making their way to Adelaide next month for their long-awaited debut gig.
Taking over The Metro Hotel on Saturday, February 8, the hard-rocking quartet are pumped to perform tracks from across their career, including fan favourites, deep cuts and even a couple of newbies.
Convict Class aren’t coming alone when they hit Adelaide, bringing some good friends along for the ride. Aussie stalwarts Perdition are coming out of hibernation for their first show in 15 months. The Adelaide punk rockers are rumoured to be putting the finishing touches on their latest album, so expect a mix of new and old tunes from the anarchic quartet.
Also on the bill are Sniffin Glue, another ripping act that embodies the true old school spirit of punk. Their self-titled debut album is an underrated slice of head-bursting punk rock that matches the intensity of their live shows.

Brought up on a diet of British punk acts like Sex Pistols, The Clash and Anti Nowhere League, Convict Class had a massive 2024 that saw them release the singles ‘Conspiracy Theory’ and ‘Dirty Monarch’ along with their debut album, Generation of Discontent, which peaked at #4 on the Australian Independent Charts.
Along with dropping their debut, Convict Class played over 20 shows last year, including a tour of the UK that culminated with a performance at Rebellion Punk Music Festival in Blackpool England.
Comprising Sten Gun (lead vocals), Benno (guitar), Shane (bass) and Al (drums), Convict Class hopes their foray into Adelaide is well received and might lead to more events in the future. The band are already working on bringing more acts to Adelaide along with organising a biannual punk event to give fans the chance to experience international acts alongside local legends in a warm and welcoming space.
