Canadian hardcore greats Comeback Kid have announced a national tour to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their seminal sophomore album, Wake the Dead.
Comeback Kid have revealed they will play five headline shows along with Adelaide’s Froth & Fury Fest across January and Febraury 2026.
Released in 2005, the 11-track record helped Comeback Kid break through into the metal mainstream, with the title track becoming one of the band’s signature songs. Comeback Kid will perform Wake the Dead in its entirety at each show alongside a set of fan favourites.
The tour gets underway at Perth’s Amplifier Bar on Friday 30 January and heads to Adelaide the following day, Saturday 31 January, where Comeback Kid play Froth & Fury Fest. The band hits Melbourne’s Prince Bandroom on Sunday 1 Febraury, Sydney’s Manning Bar on Wednesday 4 February and Newcastle’s Hamilton Station Hotel on Thursday 5 Febraury, before wrapping things up at Brisbane’s Crowbar on Friday 6 Febraury.
Heading out on tour with Comeback Kid are American hardcore act Gridiron, making their debut on Aussie soil, alongside Sydney’s very own PHANTOMS, who are appearing at selected dates.
Pre-sale begins Wednesday 30 July at 5:00pm AEST, with general on-sale taking place Thursday 31 July at 11:00am. For full ticketing information, visit destroyalllines.com.

Coming out of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Comeback Kid have dominated the global hardcore scene for almost a quarter of a century.
Releasing their debut album, Turn It Around, in 2003, it was their 2005 follow-up, Wake The Dead, that catapulted Comeback Kid into the stratosphere. Produced and recorded by Bill Stevenson (Descendents), the album influenced a legion of bands and is regarded by many as one of the great hardcore albums.
The quartet have gone on to release a total of seven studio albums, including their most recent, 2022’s Heavy Steps, and can’t wait to get back to Australia and perform live.
