Australia’s premier country music festival CMC Rocks QLD returns for another year in 2026.

From Friday 20 to Sunday 22 March 2026, some of the world’s biggest country music stars will descend upon Willowbank in Queensland for three days of music, fun and good vibes.

Topping the bill of next year’s CMC are Louisiana native Jordan Davis, Nashville five-piece Old Dominion and CMA & ACM Award winner Riley Green.

The trio will be joined by an absolutely stacked lineup of country music talent, including the likes of Carly Pearce, Vincent Mason, Dasha, Tucker Wetmore, Josh Ross and many more.

Along with all the artists performing on the main stages, CMC Rocks QLD also features Songwriters Show, an intimate session where four artists share the stories behind their songs, and The Amazon Music After Party, exclusive for campers who want to party long into the night.

Line dancing competition Big Time Bootscoote is back by popular demand, while punters can enjoy a drink at Nifty’s Sports Bar or go for something more refined at The Boatshed Restaurant. Market stalls will be in abundance and Lil’ Buckaroos Time will provide plenty of fun and games for the youngsters.

Speaking on CMC Rocks 2026, Chairman of Chugg Entertainment, Michael Chugg said, “Year after year, the loyalty of this crowd blows me away. Nearly half of them are flying in from interstate and so many have been making the trip for over a decade. That kind of commitment is rare in live music and it’s why we work so hard to keep delivering world-class lineups. 2026's bill is stacked with incredible talent, big international names, Aussie favourites, and the next generation coming through. It’s going to be one hell of a weekend at Willowbank.”

Jeremy Dylan, Festival Director, Potts Entertainment, added, “It’s so exciting to see the depth and breadth of this lineup, from massive stars making their CMC Rocks (and Australian) debut, and favourites like Old Dominion that our fans have been clamouring for since they last rocked Willowbank in 2018. We have been working hard to give the fans an even better experience than our epic 2025 festival, and we can’t wait to be back on site in March.”

A cornerstone in Australia’s music festival calendar, CMC Rocks QLD has been getting it done for almost two decades and has gained a reputation for helping spotlight new talent, with Luke Combs playing the festival in 2018 and Taylor Swift making an appearance in 2009 before becoming a global star.

Minister for the Environment and Tourism Andrew Powell said, “CMC Rocks QLD is a standout on Queensland’s events calendar, and we’re thrilled to see it return to Willowbank in 2026. With more than 26,000 fans attending this year’s sold-out festival and injecting more than $15 million into the state’s economy, it’s clear this event delivers for both our community and our tourism sector.

“Queensland is proud to host the biggest international country festival in the Southern Hemisphere. From chart-topping superstars to emerging talent, CMC Rocks brings the world’s best to our backyard and showcases why Queensland is the ultimate destination for music, mateship and unforgettable experiences.”

Ipswich Mayor Teresa Harding added, “CMC Rocks is Australia’s biggest international country music festival, and we are thrilled to welcome it back to Willowbank, where more than 23,000 visitors kicked up their boots in 2025.

“Since 2015, Ipswich has been the proud home of the festival, which has grown into a powerhouse event, attracting country music’s biggest names and injecting around $10 million into our local economy.

“Council is proud of its long-standing association with the event and its contribution to putting Ipswich on the map as a go-to destination for great entertainment.”
