Chelsea Grin and Currents Announce Co-Headline 2025 Australian Tour
Two of heavy music’s most brutal bands join forces for what promises to be an epic nine-date tour.

American deathcore fiends Chelsea Grin and metalcore ragers Currents are heading our way this May on a co-headline tour.
Chelsea Grin returns to Australia for the first time since supporting Thy Art Is Murder in 2023. Coincidently that was also the same year Currents last performed Down Under supporting Polaris.
The tour also features local support from Sydney’s melodic hardcore beats Bloom and modern metalcore dynamos HEAVENSGATE.
Chelsea Grin and Currents kick off their Aussie jaunt in Brisbane at The Tivoli on Thursday, May 1 and continue with dates at Newcastle’s King St Bandroom (Friday, May 2), Sydney’s Liberty Hall (Saturday, May 3), Canberra’s UC Hub (Sunday, May 4) and Hobart’s Alter (Tuesday, May 6). The tour then heads to Geelong’s Wool Exchange (Thursday, May 8), Melbourne’s 170 Russell (Friday, May 9) and Adelaide’s The Gov (Saturday, May 10), before the final date at Perth’s Magent House on Sunday, May 11.

Formed in 2007, Chelsea Grin have released two EPs and seven studio albums, with their most recent being 2023’s Suffer in Heaven. The Salt Lake City legends are known for their brutal breakdowns and chaotic live performances.
Currents made a splash with their 2017 debut album, The Place I Feel Safest, and have become known for their progressive metal meets metalcore mash that’s attracted fans from across the globe.
