Australian singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer Charlie Owen is bringing his Searching for Charlie Owen live show to South Australia next month.
The talented performer has announced two shows at Port Elliot’s The Joinery Wine Room on Saturday 4 October and Thebarton’s The Wheatsheaf on Sunday 5 October. Tickets for both shows are on sale now via charlieowen.au.
Owen’s Adelaide dates follow sold-out shows in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra, with the acclaimed guitarist performing tracks from across his 40+ year career.
Support comes from SA’s own Max Savage, who is known for his dynamic and energetic live shows.

Regarded as one of Australia’s greatest guitar players, Charlie Owen has worked with a who's who of musical greats, including Tex Perkins, Paul Kelly, Renee Geyer and Louis Tillett. He’s also been a member of The New Christs, Tex, Don and Charlie, Tendrils and Beasts of Bourbon.
Although he’s only released two solo albums – Vertigo and Other Phobias (1994) and Turn the Light On (2011) – Owen has produced albums by The Plunderers, Louis Tillett, Tex Perkins and Penny Ikinger and appeared on albums by The Cruel Sea, Pendulum, Don Walker, Spencer P. Jones and many more.
