Mexican death metal pioneers Cenotaph are making their way to Australia for the very first time this October.
Hailing from Mexico City, the face-melting five-piece have been terrorising audiences for more than 30 years with their brutal riffs and are gearing up to unleash a career-spanning set of songs from their catalogue.
Cenotaph’s Tenebrous Apparitions Tour takes over Sydney’s Trocadero Room on Friday 10 October and continues with menacing shows at Melbourne’s Howler (Saturday 11 October), Perth’s Milk Bar (Friday 17 October) and Adelaide’s Ed Castle (Saturday 18 October), before coming to an end at Brisbane’s The Brightside on Saturday 25 October.

One of the leading names in the Latin heavy music scene, Cenotaph have been getting it done for close to 40 years.
Finally making it to our shores this year, Cenotaph will perform songs from across their career, including tracks from their 1990 EP Tenebrous Apparitions and albums The Gloomy Reflection of Our Hidden Sorrows (1992), Riding Our Black Oceans (1994), Epic Rites (9 Epic Tales & Death Rites) (1996) and Saga Bélica (2002).
