Celtic Thunder Announce 2026 Australian Tour

Irish folk group Celtic Thunder have announced a 2026 Australian tour performing all their biggest hits.
An Evening with Celtic Thunder hits nine venues across March next year, with the group performing their greatest hits for fans.
“We wanted to create something truly special for our fans, something that feels personal and celebratory,” says Damian McGinty, longtime Celtic Thunder Principal.
“This show is about reconnecting—with the music, with each other, and with the people who have supported us throughout the years. It’s a chance to relive the magic of Celtic Thunder in a more intimate way, and we couldn’t be more excited to share this experience with our audience.”
Celtic Thunder’s Australian tour begins in Tweed Heads at Twin Towns on Thursday 12 March. The group then performs at Brisbane’s BCEC on Friday 13 March, Caloundra’s The Events Centre on Saturday 14 March, Newcastle’s Civic Theatre on Sunday 15 March, Sydney’s State Theatre on Tuesday 17 March, Canberra’s The Playhouse CTC on Wednesday 18 March, Melbourne’s Hamer Hall on Friday 20 March and Adelaide’s Festival Theatre on Sunday 22 March, with the final concert taking place at Perth’s Regal Theatre on Tuesday 24 March.

An Intimate Evening with Celtic Thunder is being touted as “more than just a concert” but “a journey through the group’s incredible legacy.”
The group, which has comprised some of the finest vocalists on the planet, will see Emmet, Damian, Neil and Ronan perform some of Celtic Thunder’s greatest songs, from traditional Irish folk songs to modern favourites.
