‘Rosebank’ is the latest taste of Sonic Reducer’s upcoming EP Living Room, out Friday 19 June.

The five-track EP finds the band reckoning with everyday life and the fear of what the future holds, showcasing a maturity in their songwriting.

Following the previously released cuts ‘Song for Steven’ and their first release of 2026, ‘I Know (in the end)’, Sonic Reducer’s latest track is an electrifying post-punk tour de force with nods to New Order and Children Collide.

Speaking about the track, the band shares, “‘Rosebank’ is a song we wrote while feeling seriously homesick and melancholic on a trip to Sydney for some writing/recording sessions. Lyrically, it’s about missing someone, and details how all the turmoil that being away from home and the people you love can bring you into a bit of a spiral, perpetually longing to be home and have things be right again.”

‘Rosebank’ arrives after a huge 2025 that saw Sonic Reducer drop their 6-track EP SQUEEZE, play a run of sold-out East Coast shows and share the stage with DZ Deathrays and Cosmic Psychos.

This year has already seen the punk act support Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers and Genesis Owusu during their respective national tours, as they prepare for the release of their hotly anticipated EP Living Room.
